This opal ring contains a natural earth mined opal. This is a solid opal which are much more desirable and valuable than the doublets and triplets that most opal jewelry on the market today is made of. The opal in this ring display excellent fire and flash with a dazzling range of colour play. The setting is made of solid sterling silver and is currently size 6 3/4. The ring can be sized up or down by as much as 2 sizes We had the ring appraised by a gemologist at the National Gemological Laboratory. The ring is described in the appraisal as follows:
