This star sapphire ring features a genuine earth mined sapphire cabochon. I have included photos under multiple different lighting sources to show the faint star effect that is visible in this stone. Natural star sapphires such as this one generally show the best stars under intense light such as direct sunlight with the star becoming less defined and less visible under weaker light sources. The colour also looks different under varying light but is generally a light bluish grey. The size 6.5 ring is solid sterling silver and can be sized up or down by as much as 2 sizes The ring has been appraised by a gemologist. The item is described as follows:
