For sale here is this fabulous custom made ring containing a natural earth mined opal. This is a solid opal which are much more desirable and valuable than the doublets and triplets that most opal jewelry on the market today is made of. The opal in this ring display excellent fire and flash with a dazzling range of colour play. The setting is made of solid sterling silver and is currently size 7. The ring can be sized up or down by as much as 2 sizes We had the ring appraised by an independent GIA graduate gemologist on February 10th, 2015. The ring is described in the appraisal as follows:
"~One cabochon cut jelly opal solid estimated to weigh 2.84 carats

Measurements: surface 10.9mm by 9.0mm oval

Predominate play of colour: Light mauve and green

Patterning: Flash

Finish and symmetry: Good

Total weight: 4.9 grams
