These star sapphire earrings feature a pair of genuine earth mined sapphire cabochons. I have included photos under multiple different lighting sources to show the faint star effect that is visible in these stones. Natural star sapphires such as this one generally show the best stars under intense light such as direct sunlight with the star becoming less defined and less visible under weaker light sources. The colour also looks different under varying light but is generally a light bluish grey. The earrings are solid sterling silver and have been appraised by a gemologist.
