For sale here is a fabulous pair of opal earrings. These are natural solid opals which are much more desirable and valuable than the doublets and triplets that most opal jewelry on the market today is made of. They are also fully faceted rather than cabochon cut which is quite rare for opals and gives them a very unique look compared to their more common cabochon cut counterparts. There is also significantly more labour put into a fully faceted opal compared to a cabochon cut. The opals in these earrings display excellent fire and flash with a dazzling range of colour play. The setting and backs are made of solid sterling silver. We had the earrings appraised by an independent gemologist. The opals are described in the appraisal as follows:
