These opal earrings feature a well matched pair of natural earth mined opals. These are solid opals which are much more desirable and valuable than the doublets and triplets that most opal jewelry on the market today is made of. The opals in these earrings display excellent fire and flash with a dazzling range of colour play. The setting is made of solid sterling silver. We had the earrings appraised by an independent GIA graduate gemologist on February 10th, 2015. The earrings are described in the appraisal as follows:

"~Two cabochon cut jelly opal solids estimated to weigh 3.83 carats combined

Measurements: surface 11.0mm by 9.0mm oval

Predominate play of colour: Orange with green

Patterning: Flash

Finish and symmetry: Good
