This star ruby necklace features a genuine earth mined ruby cabochon on an 18" necklace. I have included photos under multiple different lighting sources to show the range of star effect that is visible in this stone. Natural star rubies such as this one generally show the best stars under intense light such as direct sunlight with the star become less defined and less visible under weaker light sources. Both the pendant setting and necklace are solid sterling silver. The pendant is brand new and has been appraised by a gemologist. The appraisal describes the item as follows:
